ASSIGNR
EKCUA uses assignr.com for scheduling umpires. Umpires can go to the Assignr website by clicking the logo, or going to assignr.com.
Assignr is an online scheduling program that allows umpires to take control of their schedules. It also keeps records of games worked, wages earned, and gives us a private outlet to communicate. It is available to all officials as well as the Blue Springs Baseball Board of Directors. It does this all at a fraction of a cost to other scheduling programs.
EQUIPMENT
Shirts: The association shirt is the Carolina Blue shirt with the black collar. All umpires need to have this shirt. Umpires are free to wear other shirts as they please, as long as all umpires on a field match.
Pants: Umpire pants are always heather or charcoal gray. Regular gray slacks are acceptable for new umpires as long as shin guards can fit comfortably underneath. For umpires looking to get umpire pants, they come in two cuts: base and plate.
Plate pants have wider legs to accommodate large shin guards and they have reinforced seat seams.
Base pants are cut like normal slacks.
