League Credentials

In compliance with the Safe Sport Act, which has set higher standards of care to protect youth, Blue Springs Baseball has adopted a Child Abuse/Molestation Risk Management Program.

ALL managers, coaches, (including bench coaches), umpires, scorekeepers, volunteers, and staff - 18 Years and Older - are required to obtain BSB League Credentials - which includes a Background Check as well as awareness training on identifying various types of abuse/molestation and the tactics that are used by child predators.

There are two links below, one for Coaches/Team Volunteers (managers, coaches, bench coaches, scorekeepers, and other team staff) and the other is for League Staff (Board of Directors, umpires, concessions, grounds crew, tournament workers, etc).

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available.

To allow ample processing time, the League Credentials/Background Check should be completed at least a week prior to the start of practices (Spring practices start the week of March 18, 2024 / Fall practices start the week of August 12, 2024).

The cost of League Credentials is $25 and will be collected at the time of registering for your credentials. Once payment is received, you will receive an email with the link to submit your background check. To avoid a $20 late fee, credentials must be submitted prior to the dates below:

SPRING LEAGUE

April 15, 2024 (Divisions 5U - 14U)

May 15, 2024 (Divisions 15U - 18U)

FALL LEAGUE

August 26, 2024 (All Divisions)

Cards are valid through 12/31/2024.

Once your information has been verified, you have confirmed you have completed the awareness training, and you have passed your background check - BSB will issue your League Credentials. Please do not wait to do this as this process takes a few days to complete.

Please note - Your background check must be completed and approved before your credentials are printed.
