code of conduct
As a parent, I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care, and encouragement for my child participating in Blue Springs Baseball, by agreeing to follow this Code of Conduct.
- I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and league officials at every game, practice, or event.
- I will place emotion and physical well-being of my child ahead of any personal desire to win.
- I will insist my child play in a safe and healthy environment.
- I will provide support for coaches and league officials working with my child to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
- I will demand a drug and alcohol free sports environment for my child and agree to assist by refraining from their use at all league events.
- I will remember the game is for the children and not for the adults.
- I will do my best to make baseball fun for my child.
- I will remember that abusive language or behavior will not be tolerated.
- I will ask my child to treat other players, coaches, fans, and officials with respect, regardless of race, sex, creed, or ability.
- I will promise to help my child enjoy the baseball experience within my personal constraints by assisting with the coaching, being a respectful fan, providing transportation to the best of my ability.
- I will require my child’s coaches to follow their Code of Conduct and will work with him or her to help ensure an enjoyable experience for all.
- I understand my failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action by the Blue Springs Baseball Board of Directors.
- The Board of Directors may issue a suspension or an expulsion of either my coach(es) or myself for failing to follow the Parent Code of Conduct.
