Tournaments

overview

Thank you for inquiring about Blue Springs Baseball Tournaments.  Many tournaments offered today are held by tournament companies for profit. By playing in a Blue Springs Baseball tournament you are helping support over 1300 youth players in the Blue Springs Baseball League.  Other than operational cost, all proceeds are used to help grow Blue Springs Baseball which is a volunteer non profit organization.

All tournaments are USSSA State Qualifiers unless stated otherwise.

All teams  are required to have an online team roster on the USSSA website and must keep a printed copy of their roster for tournament director review.

Other reasons to consider playing a BSB Tournament.

  • Proceeds from these tournaments go back into our league and complex to ensure youth baseball, at both competitive and recreation levels will continue to be offered in Blue Springs.  BSB is a Non-Profit and volunteer organization.  We do not receive any financial support from Blue Springs Parks and Recreation and depend on tournaments for part of our operating costs.
  • Our fields play when many other complexes close due to heavy rain.  Our American Legion Fields are maintained and conditioned with Pros Choice Infield Conditioner and graded with a proper crown for drainage.  This has resulted in superior field conditions and provides quick recovery after a rain.
  • Every field has real clay pitching mounds and batters boxes.  We do NOT use portable mounds.
  • Our umpires are some the best in the area.  They are all experienced and trained in the Two Man Pro Mechanics system.
